Visa for language courses in Bolivia

citizen from following countries are excluded:

Student visa

-	for pupil and student

This sort of visa will be issued for foreign students who would like to study at a Bolivian univerisity or for pupil who participate at an exchange program. The visa is valid for 60 days. In Bolivia the visa can be extended at the national immigration office.

Disclosure by a passport does apply:

-	to every nationality

The passport must be valid for at least 1 year by entry. Citizen from Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, who are allowed to enter with their ID-card, are excluded. The German Child´s Travel Document is accepted.

Application documents for a visa:

Application by mail is to be post paid with an addressed envelope. It should also include a check for diposit only which contains the fee for the visa and the certification.

-	passport (valid for at least six months at the day of entry)
-	administrative charges
-	for a durable and student visa a statement for the purpose of the stay is to be made
-	certification of the Bolivian university, institution or employer
-	statements about your day of entry, duration of stay and the expected address in Bolivia
-	clearance certificate (aged max. 4 weeks, translated by a sworn tranlator into Spanish)
-	medical certificate (aged max. 4 weeks, translated by a sworn tranlator into Spanish)
-	travel admission for underaged person who travels alone or single-parent to Bolivia
	for student visa:
-	copy of the agreement by a Bolivian university or any other educational institution
-	photocopy of the student ID, as well as certified and translated into Spanish by a sworn translator

Period of processing:

-	depends on the nationality but at the most 1 month

-	the tourist visa is effective for 30 days from day of entry and a student visa for 60 days from day of entry; it´s possible to extend the stay up to 90 days on site

Fees:

-	depends on the nationality and on the current rate of exchange. Some citizen receive the visa for free.
