Visa for language courses in Peru


Visa:

- valid for every citizen from foreign countries
- citizen from following countries are excluded concerning a stay up to 90 days:
Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, other EU-countries and Switzerland
- Nationals of the following countries are exempt from tourist visas and can remain in Peru for up to 90 days: South America : Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador Guyana, Paraguay, Suriname, Uruguay & Venezuela, North America : Canada, USA and Mexico, Central America and Caribbean: Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Costa Rica, Dominica, El Salvador, Granada, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Panama, República Dominicana, Saint Christopher and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and The Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Europe : Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holy See, Iceland, Italy, Liechteinstein, Luxemburg, Malt, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Asia : Brunei, Darussalam, Philippines, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand & Taiwan, Oceania : Australia, Fiji, Cook Islands, Marshall Islands, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, Mycronesia, Nauru, Nue, New Zealand, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Tonga, Tuvalu & Vanuatu, Africa : Republic of South Africa
Nationals of countries not mentioned above require a tourist visa and must obtain it from the Perúvian consulate preferably in person.


Disclosure by a passport does apply:

- to every national

Attention: passport has to be valid at least 6 months at the day of entry


Application documents for a visa:

- Valid passport + 1 photocopy
- Return ticket to Peru or letter of guarantee from travel agents stating dates of arrival and departure to and from Peru
- 2 photographs (colour, passport size)
- Proof of solvency (latest bank statement, showing a minimum of £1,000)
If you are a student, please provide a letter from your centre of studies confirming your studies. If you work, please provide a letter from your employer confirming your employment status.
- visa application forms fully filled and signed
- proof of fee payment in advance

Note: The embassy does not legalise the content of a document, it only legalizes official signatures. Documents need to be legalised first by the foreign office before being sent to us. Please attach a stamped self addressed envelope and a simple copy of the document.
