We have a comfortable, inviting campus with 7 classrooms, a lounge and computer area.
The IGK homestay coordinator can arrange all of your accommodation requests. All of our homestays are carefully selected and screened and all speak English as their first language. The majority of residents in Kelowna also speak English as their first language so your English skills will improve quicker than in larger multicultural Canadian cities.

Kelowna is a year round resort city with over 300 days of sunshine per year making it one of the sunniest and warmest destinations in Canada (July 37C, April 16C, October 17C, December 5C). Kelowna is surrounded by Okanagan Lake and many pristine beaches are close to the city centre and the school. Kelowna is also home to over 10 championship golf courses and 20 wineries. The Canadian Tourism Commission consistently rates Kelowna as the #1 golf destination in Canada and Cedar Creek Estate Winery was voted the best winery in Canada for the past 2 years. Kelowna is a very safe city and is easily accessible by airline or by Greyhound bus from Vancouver, Seattle, Toronto, Calgary, Victoria or Edmonton.
Kelowna is also an economical study destination for example: a monthly bus pass is $47, a one bedroom apartment is on average $550-750 per month, a one day gym pass is $2 and many cultural attractions and museums are free or offer reduced student rates. In fact, one local hamburger restaurant, Burger Baron charges $3 for 3 hamburgers!
