Kilkenny School of English is English in your teachers home. We are located in the countryside about 20 minutes drive from the charming and historic city of Kilkenny, Ireland. Your teacher collects you from your accommodation each morning and returns you in the afternoon. The School provides tuition in English as a Foreign Language to Adults 18+ on a year round basis and to junior students in July and August. The School offers its students the friendly, intimate atmosphere of a small, private English Language school where the emphasis is on personal attention. Lessons are given in general English, business English and exam preparation courses. Tuition is provided by skilled and experienced teachers. Adult courses are private tuition or small closed groups, while junior courses are small tutorial groups of max. 4 students.

One to One English - all levels - start any Monday. 20 lessons per week. 1 lesson = 50 minutes. Specialise in General, Business and Exam English. Extra hour practicing informal English each day while travelling to the school with your teacher Small closed groups - for students of the same level who wish to study together - all levels - start any Monday - 20 x 50 minute classes per week. Junior tuition groups - July and August. 12 - 18 year old students - students have opportunity to learn English in very small groups in informal setting of the tutor's home. Afternoon activities with the tutor. Homestay accommodation, transfers, Saturday excursion and activities included. 15 hours tuition per week. Standard junior programme - July and August - 12 - 18 year old students - max. 15 students in a group - afternoon activities, Saturday excursion, one disco per week. Homestay accommodation provided for €200 per week. Full Board - three meals and snacks provided in a typical Irish family. Within walking distance of the town centre. B & B, Hotel or Hostel accommodation can also be arranged if necessary. Your teacher collects you by car in the morning and brings you to her house for lessons and returns you in the afternoon.
