Enforex Madrid

Enforex offers its students more than 20 courses in six centrally-located schools throughout Spain. The schools are open all year round and the average class has just five students (max 9). The multicultural student body, representing 48 nationalities, begin classes every Monday and may choose anything from a minimum one week program in one location, to several months in up to three cities paying a one-time application fee to really discover Spanish culture.

Madrid is the capital city of Spain since 1562 and has more than 3.000.000 inhabitants. It is a city oozing a vitality and an energy unmatched by any other European capital. It is extremely compact and located in the centre of the country and because of this convenient location people can get to any part of the country in approximately 5 hours by car. Madrid is a city full of contrasts where the old "barrios" of La Latina and Malasaña mix their ancient character with the modern architecture of La Castellana and the Torre Picasso. This city is an influential financial and political centre where important events take place every day. Madrid has been able to find the balance with the respect and conservation of its old traditions with the demands of modern times. It is one of the leading European cities in terms of green areas, such as the Parque del Retiro and the Parque del Oeste. For people who like to ski, there is a ski slope at only one hour by car, "Navacerrada". Madrid is the headquarters for the most important public and political institutions and it is also the home of the President of the Government and the Royal Family. All year long it offers a great variety of events such as exhibitions, football matches, concerts, opera, "zarzuela", theatre, cinema, bullfights etc. The nightlife is unmatched by other European cities and is very crowded with people of all ages having good times in restaurants, clubs discos and bars. A city of Spanish migrants and a large number of foreign residents, cultural diversity and good fun are all guaranteed in Madrid. Other Locations: Barcelona, Granada, Salamanca, Almuñecar, Marbella (Spain) and Quito/Ecuador, Cuzco/Peru, Sucre/Bolivia, Cordoba/Argentina, Flamingo Beach/Costa Rica (Latin America).

In all our courses we try to instruct individually and then integrate the four language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition to these skills, we also emphasise grammatical structure so the student can eventually reach the threshold of communicative proficiency. We feel that learning a language is a dynamic process in which the students live within the Spanish culture while being totally immersed in the language itself. In order to broaden the student's general perspective, we offer the possibility of studying many different aspects of the Spanish culture including History, Art, Civilization, Literature, Cinema, etc.

Living with a Spanish family will enable the student to see and understand many aspects of the Spanish lifestyle getting a better knowledge of Spanish culture, traditions, etc. Many families have been chosen for these purpose in order to make the stay of our students as pleasant as possible. They will be treated and feel as part of the family. Even though Madrid and Barcelona are big cities, we will always try to accommodate our students within 20/30 minutes from our schools. The appartments are located in the very centre of the cities with a personalised attention of 24 hours per day. There are apartments and studios of different sizes and characteristics according to the needs of every student. Buildings have laundry, air conditioning etc.

Activities are held in the afternoon through the week, and on Saturdays and Sundays the students can go on day trips guided by our teachers. Because of the convenient location it is possible to get to most of the cities in a period of time from half an hour to five hours by car, by train or by bus.
