Our French language Institute in the South of France is situated in the heart of beautiful, historic Montpellier, minutes from the railway/bus station/tramway, the world-famous Place de la Comédie, the Tour de la Babote and within only 20 minutes of the airport and wonderful Mediterranean beaches. Eurolingua is a member of La Maison de la France, l'Office du Tourisme de Montpellier and La Chambre de Commerce de Montpellier. We are located on the ground floor of an impressive, traditional French building, with a reception area, five spacious classrooms, toilets, offices, kitchen, small library and a spacious central meeting/entertainments area with an opening glass roof. We are a small, friendly school where you are guaranteed a warm welcome and caring personalised attention during your stay. Eurolingua's unique programmes are for students, adults and business professionals (16-75 years) who wish to improve rapidly their verbal communication skills in friendly surroundings, while enjoying a pleasurable and culturally enriching experience. Every year, students of all ages and from many countries and professions, attend Eurolingua language, cultural, special interest and summer programmes. Study abroad French in France programmes start every Monday all year round and are for students and clients of any age (16-75 years), from beginners to advanced. Students join the group most appropriate to their French language level, based on a linguistic assessment upon arrival at the Eurolingua Institute in Montpellier. Accommodation options during Summer School include local homestay with half-board (private room, breakfast and evening dinner) at only 168 €uro per week (7 nights). One-to-One Homestays: a unique Eurolingua programme whereby one student at a time lives for 1 to 4 weeks on a full-board basis (private room and all meals) in the private family residence of a Eurolingua tutor. Customised, expert foreign language tuition, plus total immersion in local family life and culture is guaranteed, plus local excursions and visits. The tutor can be given in advance an outline of any special tuition needs – holidays, travel, examination preparation, literature, grammar, business communication. We collect you at and return you to the nearest airport or railway station. Available all year and highly cost-effective – you make the most progress in the shortest time for your personal holiday, study or career investment. Group Programmes (16-75 years): You benefit from a minimum of 15 hours (20 lessons) per week tuition over 1 or more weeks in small friendly groups at the Eurolingua Institute in Montpellier, with cultural visits and leisure activities. The emphasis is on speaking and comprehension skills but grammar and writing are also covered. Students generally enrol on a Eurolingua programme to improve their verbal communication skills and experience the culture and lifestyle in France rather than working from textbooks at home. Level Test on admission to determine the most appropriate group. Accommodation can be arranged for you with a selected, local host family or in an hotel or studio apartment where available. In order to maintain linguistic and cultural continuity, we arrange homestay accommodation for you with one of our local, selected French hosts, situated within convenient travelling distance from the school, either a pleasant and safe walk, a bus ride or on the new tramway. Montpellier is quite a small historic town (200,000 population) and the centre is pedestrianised. Accommodation is usually half-board, inclusive of private room, breakfast and evening dinner. Accommodation can also be arranged for you in a private studio apartment, in the Citadines Aparthotel, the Mercure/Ibis hotels or in any number of attractive recommended hotels in Montpellier.

Many and varied activities to suit all tastes and age groups are available in and around Montpellier in this magnificent Languedoc-Roussillon region of the South of France ("Le Midi"). This is France's largest wine-growing region.
