Bronte Language Centre, is dedicated to providing the highest quality intensive English courses where the emphasis is on communication. We offer each student an additional study plan to help you learn as quickly as possible. Individual attention is our first priority enabling you to learn the English skills most important to you.

There are three harbours, many parks, shops, malls, libraries, cinemas, theatres, clubs, beaches, museums, galleries, sports facilities, cafés, bars and restaurants. There is the popular Waterfront Festival during June with other celebrations and parades at different times of the year. This is a wonderful place to live and study English. Oakville is a lovely, safe area with a high standard of living. We are a small and friendly Language Centre situated a few minutes walk from the lake, parks, post office, banks, pharmacies, shopping malls, coffee shops, cafés, fast food shops, stores and services. Oakville is about 30 minutes by car or 40 minutes by train from Toronto and an hour from Niagara Falls and the US border.

A typical day would be ESL class from 9.00am to 1.15pm, lunch, extra study during the afternoon, catch up with your email or watch a video. The main focus of our courses is communication so you can effectively use and increase your English language skills in a wide variety of situations.

Bronte Language Centre Residence We offer single, double and triple occupancy bedrooms, a student TV lounge, free computer/ internet access with breakfast and dinner each day. Your new home is close to Lake Ontario and about 5 to 15 minutes walk to the stores, malls and the Language Centre.

Activities

Regular activities:  We organize an optional social program for our students with movie nights, games nights, karaoke at the local pub - 19+, picnics, sailing, barbecues, trips to Niagara, Toronto and other places of interest. During January and February we have ice skating, ski days and other snow sports. We have a large video and book library for your use and lots of local and tourist information.
Possible activities:  Visits to places of interest such as Niagara Falls, Toronto, Crawford Lake, Dundern Castle, skiing or sailing, shopping etc.
Depending on the time of year, the length of your stay and your preferences, your excursions and activities could include: Toronto and the CN Tower, Niagara Falls and The Maid of the Mist boat trip, Crawford Lake Indian Village, Provincial Parks, Ontario Place, Art Gallery of Ontario, The Science Centre, The Royal Ontario Museum, the malls, swimming, sailing, movies, castles, forts, skiing, snow boarding, ice skating, sailing, picnics and barbecues.
