International House Palma de Mallorca

IH Palma occupies a large, elegant building in the very centre of the old city. The school has its own street-level entrance on the ground floot, where the main reception is located. IH Palma organises a varied programme of social activities, these include welcome cocktails, visits and excursions to places of interest. We can offer the students an intensive group course, individual tuition or the over-50s cours in Palma de Mallorca.

Set in a beautiful bay, Palma has been the capital of Mallorca for over a 1000 years. Modern Palma is a bustling city with a population of just over 300.000. The city has an extraordinary beautiful Gothic Quarter, many monuments and squares. Modern Palma is also a cosmopolitan city with a lively arts schene and nightlife to suit anu taste. Palma is historical and liberal, Spanish and cosmopolitan, and nearly always sunny.

Our Intensive Group Course consist of 4 hours a day, from 9.30 till 13.30. Students with already some knowlegde of Spanish can start any monday throughout the year. Beginners can start on (in 2006): January 3, 16, 30 February 13, 27 March 13, 27 April 10, 24 May 8, 22 June 5, 19 July 3, 17, 31 August 14,28 and September 11, 25 October 9, 23 November 6, 20 December 4 Individual Tuition €38 per hour Courses for over-50s: 2 weeks €395. Starting dates (for 2006): March 27, June 19, November 6. In the course fee the social programme is included.

IH Palma can organise 2 types of accommodation: in host families (standard or executive) or apartments (shared or for exclusive use). Most of the accommodations are less than 20 minutes from the school on foot or by public transport.

Included in course fee: Spanish guide with experience teaching Spanish to foreign students.
