CEL Accommodations The best way to learn about the American way of life is to become part of an American family while studying at CEL. Staying with a host family gives you the comfort of a home setting and more opportunities to practice English. Many of our former students develop lasting relationships with their host families and keep in contact after they return to their home countries. All CEL host families are carefully selected for their ability to accommodate international students. Students who prefer independent accommodations may choose to stay in an apartment or residential hotel in San Diego. The prices vary depending on location, size and options. Please refer to the insert for current accommodations prices.

Activities

Regular activities:  CEL is organizing a lot of great activities and trips for the students especially in August when the weather is always sunny but not hot and humid. For example, CEL is organizing cool activities such as kayaking in La Jolla near the famous cliff caves and a chance to get wet with cool water at Soak City where you can slide down from heights through tunnels into pools of water. And more! Because of the recent Word Cup fever 2006 in Germany, CEL is organizing Soccer competitions against other language schools in San Diego. So please send us your best soccer players (male and FEMALES!) and cheerleaders! As well we have our usual exciting activities such as: Golf Lessons, Surfing Lessons, Sports Day at the Beach, Padres Baseball games, Magic Mountain, Disneyland, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Mexico, Paintball, Line Dancing, Karaoke.....!
