One of the best ways to get involved in the culture of a foreign country is to live with a family while studying there. This gives a student the chance to see life as it is lived by people in the country itself. While there are other accomodation options available, many students choose to live with a GEOS homestay family. Families are carefully selected and are interested in cultural exchange. We interview our family candidates and evaluate them on a number of points for their suitability. As well, during the student's homestay, we keep in touch with the family and the student to ensure that the arrangement is working out well. Families are conveniently located near public transportation within a reasonable commuting distance of the school. They include you in family activities and encourage you to practice your English in a natural environment provide two meals a day during the week, three meals a day on the weekends. Many GEOS students return to their home country with lasting memories of the families they met and stayed with during their time overseas. Make friends to last a lifetime! As an alternative, we can help you find other accommodations in an apartment or a weekly hotel.
