Village English is a Canadian English (ESL) language school near Toronto, Canada with courses in Conversation, Grammar, TOEFL, TOEIC, Pronunciation, and Business, plus Homestay.

Streetsville is located in a city outside Toronto named Mississauga and is only about twenty minutes by car, thirty-five minutes by train, and an hour by bus from downtown Toronto. Our great location offers you the perfect mix of small town charm and big city fun. Streetsville has come to be known as "the Village in the City". Originally a milling town, Streetsville has become part of a growing city yet has managed to preserve its uniqueness and heritage throughout the years. You can still walk down the street and see a familiar face, you can enjoy live music in one or two of the local pubs on weekends, and participate in one of our six popular festivals throughout the year. Come to watch our annual Bread and Honey festival parade, which attracts thousands of interested tourists from all over, or, when you want to get away from people, take a stroll down the Credit River and get in touch with nature.

We offer a range of programs designed to suit the various needs of our international students. Village English offers students a number of extra resources to help perfect their English. One of the best things about our system is the student participation. We strongly encourage our students to participate, and to ask questions. We have a lot of fun while we're learning.

Village English offers a Homestay Program which will present you with the unique opportunity to live with a Canadian family while attending classes at our school. In addition to having English language classes during school hours, you can maximize your learning experience in Canada by sharing accommodations with a Canadian family. After school, in the evenings and on weekends, you will be surrounded by endless opportunities to speak English with members of your host family and other members of the community. Your homestay accommodations include: a separate bedroom, 3 meals per day, laundry, living in a specific geographic area with maximum travelling time of 30 minutes from the school, staying with a family that speak English in their home, and, some local sightseeing.

The main focus of our famous Conversation Lounge is to act as a meeting place for students and as an information point from which to increase involvement in our community and discover Canada. Our friendly staff helps students plan outings, organize excursions, do volunteer work, and take advantage of all that our beautiful city and province have to offer.
