Link School of English is a medium sized family run School located in Swieqi, a quiet residential area ideal for educational purposes and close to St. Julian’s. At Link School we pride ourselves in giving individual attention to each and every student. We offer a wide variety of courses ranging from General English (seven levels) to Specialised Courses and Exam Preparation Programmes. Popular Specialised Courses which run throughout the year feature Business English, Written English for Tourism (WEFT), as well as Medical English and English for Banking. Link School of English is the official and exclusive Exam Centre for British Institutes in Malta. Students may choose to attend preparatory courses before sitting for the exam at our School. British Institutes certification is recognised by UCAS as an English language proficiency test, accepted by various universities and colleges across the UK. Certificates are issued under standards established by the Council of Europe (Common European Framework). We also offer intensive programmes for TOEFL and IELTS preparation. Our main premises which is open all year round is well equipped with fully air-conditioned classrooms, video room, study room, games room, free WIFI, free internet cafe and a lovely garden with patios. Throughout the Summer months we also operate from our second branch, the Junior University, equipped with ninety classrooms, canteen, gym, audio visual room, computer room, theatre as well as indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Students are allocated in classrooms according to their age, level and nationality in order to ensure an international environment. We offer various types of accommodation to our students ranging from host families, school residence and student apartments. Our host families are carefully selected and situated within walking distance from our main building. Students may also choose to stay in our economy residence or 4 Star Residence supervised by our own dedicated personnel. Self-catering apartments are also available close to the school. All accommodation is carefully selected to ensure a friendly and international environment, good standards and comfort. For the benefit of our students we also organise various excursion programmes with a vast selection of cultural and leisure activities, accompanied by our experienced leaders and guides.

GENERAL ENGLISH (eight levels: Offers a practical approach to learning English. A concoction of lessons, games, role playing, mimes, acting and more; this course provides you with daily interaction in English. KIDS' COURSE: Welcome to the magical land in which language means fun. Here colours, cartoons, fiction and stories reign. Let the child's imagination run wild and we will provide the language to help them express themselves thereby grasping the language. Furthermore, we expose children to English through videos, songs, and audiocassettes - allowing them to soak up as much knowledge as possible. CULTURE VULTURE TREASURE TROVE: Devised with the avid historian in mind, this is a course with a difference. Lessons are held on site (not in classrooms). Visit Malta's rich heritage and bounteous history whilst practicing English with fellow culture lovers. 30 SPECIALISED COURSES: These are more career oriented, emphasizing terminology, practicing presentations, dialogues and so on. We present real life scenarios to provide hands on experience with the language learnt throughout the course. EXAM MAXIMISER COURSE: T.O.E.F.L. - I.E.L.T.S . - CAMBRIDGE: With a maximum of 6 students in class, our fully qualified teachers will guide you and provide test practice. This course widens your horizon and offers the possibility of a brighter future. CERTIFICATES At the end of the course, the student is presented with a certificate acknowledged by the Ministry of Education stating the duration of the course and the level achieved.

Host Families: Live the language to learn the language. On a daily basis you interact in English, talking about mundane topics thereby boosting your conversational skills. Our friendly, hospitable families are carefully selected within walking distance to guarantee the comforts of home. An added bonus is the first hand experience of the Maltese way of life - inculding our traditions, values and culture. Self-catering Student Apartments: Ideally situated within walking distance from our school, we offer one, two or three bedroom apartments, all carefully chosen to ensure a healthy environment. Hotels: Having had the pleasure of working with numerous hotels situated along the popular tourist resorts (5 minutes drive from Swieqi) we offer a variety of Hotels from 3 to 5 star. The minimum facilities such as TV and air-conditioning are standard features.
