English Language Company (ELC) offers all levels from absolute beginners to very advanced. Because ELC has a high percentage of students from Western Europe (60-70%), we specialise in high level English programs for students who already speak good English and may have studied English for up to 9 years at school. The focus of the program is on improving speaking accuracy and fluency as well as listening comprehension. We teach students to speak naturally and confidently whether they need English for work, further study or for travel purposes. At ELC there are students from over 35 countries and we have strict English Only policy in the school. Everything we do at ELC is aimed at improving our students' English quickly and effectively. Base backpackers provides modern backpacker accommodation in the heart of Sydney and is suitable for students who would like convenient and affordable short term accommodation. Base is conveniently located next door to ELC! Base offers twin, 4-bed rooms and dormitories. It has excellent facilities: laundry, kitchen, bar, restaurant, TV rooms and internet café. Our student residence offers comfortable accommodation suitable for students who like to be independent and are looking for quality longer term accommodation. It is a short bus or train journey to the college. You can choose a single, twin or double room. It has excellent facilities: kitchen, TV lounge, internet access and laundry. If you are travelling with your partner or friends and wish to have complete independence then your own apartment is a good choice for you. Choose from comfortable one or two-bedroom apartments in central Sydney. Apartments are clean, fully-furnished and well-equipped. Minimum booking 4 weeks. Rent includes gas and electricity.
