Global Village offers quality homestay services for students who want to experience local culture in a safe and secure environment. The homestay program includes:careful selection of families,computerized placement of students, 2-3 meals/day (depending on location), private room, laundry facilities, access to TV and telephone, professional counselling service, airport pick-up. Apartments, Residences, Hostels and Hotels: All Shane Global Village schools offer a variety of residential and apartment accommodation. Space may be limited.

We believe that student participation in a variety of recreational and cultural activities is central to a positive experience at the school. For each session, the Activities Coordinators organize cultural and recreational pursuits which are fun, entertaining and reflect the characteristics of the area. Various cultural and recreational activities are organized on a frequent basis with the participation of school staff. The number of participants may be limited in some activities and students should sign up early. Students are responsible for any extra fees.School parties and events:Each school organizes regular dance parties and all-school events with a variety of themes throughout the year.Excursion costs: Free to CDN$ 300.00, except three-day weekend trips.
