Pacific Language Institute (PLI) is a privately owned company, which operates ESL schools in Vancouver and Toronto. PLI, recognized internationally for its high academic standards, offers quality English programs year-round for adults. Students come to PLI to improve their knowledge of English for career and business purposes or to learn English in order to enter North American colleges and universities.
PLI offers a full range of programs: General English, Diploma Program in Business Communication, Cambridge Exam, TOEFL/TOEIC Preparation, IELTS Preparation, English Internship Program, an Academic Year Program, and a University and College Preparation program. Programs available are 10, 20, 30 and 40 hours per week. Students must be 18 years or older and must have finished high school.
Experienced instructors have specialized training in Teaching English as a Second Language and use a variety of teaching methods, materials and resources to create a friendly and motivating learning environment.
PLI provides an excellent service and students are expected to speak English only while at school and during all school activities. PLI also provides a Homestay program and apartment accommodations.
