Learning English is a lot easier when you have fun doing it. At IH Toronto, our other mission is to make sure you get to have fun! While improving your English is still our number one priority, we believe you must also gain new and memorable experiences, learn about Canadian culture, and make friends from around the world. Numerous trips are organized to enrich your stay in Canada. Camping trips to Northern Ontario, canoeing, hiking, biking and picnics in Ontario's beautiful parks are just the beginning. Visits to some of Toronto's famous attractions like Paramount Canada's Wonderland, the Canadian National Exhibition and Ontario Place will dazzle you. You can take in a baseball, basketball or hockey game at Rogers Centre or the Air Canada Centre and then tour the CN Tower after your game. Of course, there are exciting day and weekend trips to Niagara Falls, ski resorts for skiing and snow boarding, and hundreds of activities in which you can participate. The nightlife is just as thrilling and colourful. Join in the fun on our weekly "Bar Nights" or "Club Nights" for some laughter and dancing. Visit our unique multicultural neighborhoods and sample their cuisine in hundreds of authentic ethnic restaurants all around the city. Whatever your interest or hobby, you can be sure to find something to enjoy (we even have a shoe museum in Toronto). The great thing about being an IHT student is that you and your friends can participate in most of these activities free of charge. Activities that require a fee are offered at special student discounts.
