Tamwood offers English language courses for adults, teenagers and children. The Tamwood Vancouver English school operates year round and offers a variety of general and specialized English courses. Most of the year the Vancouver school offers English programs only for adult students but in January and February, the Vancouver English school also offers special ESL courses for teens 13 - 18. Tamwood offers 7 levels of instruction in the Core English programs and class size is small (average 12 students, maximum 15 per class). Students at Tamwood learn all of the essential English language skills including grammar, conversation, writing, speaking, listening, pronunciation and vocabulary. Special English programs offered at the Vancouver English school include Business English, TOEFL preparation, English for Lawyers and the Cambridge Work Experience/Coop English program.

Students are provided with a private bedroom, bathroom facilities, meals and contact with English speaking Canadians every day.
