The centre is an elegant manor house with a large modern extension. It’s set in extensive, beautiful gardens, and within easy reach of the historic city centre. Bell Cambridge has 30 attractive classrooms, a Study Centre, Multimedia Centre, and its own restaurant. It also boasts a dedicated Professional Suite for students on Professional courses. An excellent range of on-site sporting facilities is provided, including a football pitch, tennis, basketball and volleyball courts, and a games pavilion with pool table and table-tennis. Bell Cambridge is a short bus or cycle ride to the city centre. Buses to the city centre are frequent and there is a major bus terminal just three minutes’ walk away. Every year, over 30,000 people from more than 120 different nationalities choose to learn English with Bell worldwide. We have been providing outstanding English language training since 1955 and we are now an international training organisation with 25 teaching centres worldwide.

Our English Pathways intensive English course combines 15 hours a week of language development with six hours a week of a special subject of your choice. Language Development classes are based on the Bell Syllabus and build listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, as well as developing grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. You then choose one special subject from either Pathways to Study, such as Preparation for University or Pathways to Work, such as English for Tourism.

Homestay Our private homestays provide a friendly and welcoming environment for you to relax in, with all the comforts of home. Living with a homestay host also gives you the opportunity to practise your English and to experience life in Britain. Bell has a large number of homestays, and every effort is made to find one that meets your requirements. If you live with other students, Bell guarantees that you will not be placed with students who have the same first language unless specifically requested. Bell ensures that all homestay accommodation is: Carefully selected and monitored Regularly inspected to ensure high standards Easily accessible from the school For students who prefer to be more independent, we offer residential self-catering accommodation in Cambridge: Tripos Court Residence (available all year round) Accommodates up to 36 students in single bedrooms with private shower room and toilet. Each group of six rooms shares a large well-equipped kitchen. There is also an on-site launderette. Peterhouse College Student Houses (available July and August) Part of Cambridge University , and are in the centre of the city. Each house has single bedrooms with shared bathrooms and kitchenettes. A regular bus service runs between the city centre and the school.
