International House Dublin is centrally located amid the quaint shops and music pubs of Dublin’s Village Quarter and next to St Stephen’s Green. This area is popular with students as there are many local bars, cafes, restaurants and famous delicatessens offering an excellent variety of food and drinks. There is one of Dublin’s last traditional flower and vegetable street markets located here. One hidden treasure of the Village Quarter is the Iveagh Gardens, where IH students often have their lunchtime snack. They are among the finest and least known of Dublin’s parks and gardens and include a rustic grotto, cascade, fountains, maze, wilderness and woodlands in the heart of the city.

We provide a variety of courses for all ages and levels and cater for both groups and individual students from all over the world, including: General English for adults, Examination preparation programmes, Summer programmes for young learners, High School Programme. We offer a range of English language courses to suit the needs of the individual student.

A range of accommodation is available. Homestay Accommodation is offered on a paying-guest basis, staying with Irish families that have been carefully selected and visited by our Host Family accommodation officer. Accommodation is half board Monday to Friday and full time at the weekend. Homestay accommodation for adults is in a single room unless otherwise requested. Homestay accommodation for juniors is on a shared room basis unless a single room is requested. Residential We offer self-catering student accommodation throughout the year close to the school. Hotel Hotel accommodation can be arranged in nearby hotels according to price range and availability.
