The school is in the university district and easly reachable by bus or train. Located in the city centre of Genoa in the ancient and fascinating building of the 1500, PALAZZO DI FILIPPO LOMELLINI, the school is just a few steps from the main touristic attractions, as the world known aquarium.

The secretary staff is at disposal to find and organize the best solution, among all possibilities: studio apartment, apartment to share, Homestay, Bed&Breakfast, hotels of any category at a very special price, agreed for our students. Students' families, friends are welcome in the lodgings booked as well.

Genoa is the European Capital of Culture 2004: a perfect blend of tradition, modernity and tourism and is the ideal setting in which to spend a study-holiday. The town has a glorious past of Marinar Republic and is now a city of art, trade and tecnology. It is one of Italy’s most important harbour and has the greater historical centre of Europe.
Choosing Genoa means combining a cultural experience with a pleasant vacation thanks: it is close to Portofino, Cinque Terre and Sanremo for excursions.

The school uses the communicative method, there is an entrance exam to test the knowledge of the Italian language and to verify which group level students have to enter to.
Group courses are structured in 4 lessons a day of 55 minutes in small groups to obtain the maximum attention and participation. The weekly programme present a good balance between grammar and conversation.
The courses are of standard or intensive attendance: organized into 20 lessons or from 24 to 30 (intensive) lessons.

The school provides a wide range of solutions for housing for the students.
We offer: single or double room in bed and breakfast, host-families (with also half board), hotels from 1 to 4 stars, studio - apartments and SGL or DBL rooms in shared apartments with other students.
All accommodation are carefully selected by our staff and located in the immediate vicinity of the school, as well in areas connected to the city-centre by public transport.
Activities

-Every 2 Mondays (starting date of courses) afternoon: welcome cocktail at school and guided tour of the city centre with the teacher.
-Every Wednesday afternoon: movie at school.
-Every Thursday evening: aperitif or dinner with the teachers.
-Every 2 Friday - lunch time: Italian songs at school.
-Every 2 Friday afternoon: visit with the teacher of the Genoa's aquarium either of an exhibition or a museum or of the Genoa's harbour by boat.
-Every 2 Saturday: guided excursion for all day long to Portofino or Cinqueterre. |

Diving in the beautiful Ligurian sea, cooking lessons, lessons of Tango, golf, sailing, horse-riding, tennis, soccer.
Also possible: week-end excursions to Cinqueterre by sailing boat. |
